It's been more than 20 years since I played in Confront and recorded the first Integrity 7", but I've felt like "hardcore" has been a part of my life the whole time. I don't make it to shows very often, but still get the same rush from the music and the message. I even try to keep up with some new bands, and frequent the HC retirement community of the Livewire board. I've lived in Washington DC for ages, and teach CrossFit, a high intensity strength and conditioning program (www.crossfitdc.blogspot.com). The energy and community remind me of the old days. I even ripped off the Bad Brains cover for our CrossFit DC t-shirts.
My girlfriend and I love to travel, and usually spend a few weeks each summer in Asia. Last year I even made it back to visit Cleveland!

Tom is a great guy, and an excellent strength trainer. I opened an envelope from him a few years ago and was shocked to find the most amazing neon green, hand-screened, hand-cut paper Integrity & Confront stickers and a note telling their story. It was great.
Still SE?
Cleveland rules: Everyone is still Straightedge
I love Confront, great to see this on here.
I was the summer of 89 tour with Up Front and Unit Pride. We stayed in a big house in Cleveland with some of the Confront guys and did a show there with them. Good times with some cool guys,

Well, not edge anymore, but very focused on a cleanliving healthy lifestyle.
Aaron, I remember that tour, I wish I still had that maroon Unit Pride shirt I was given.
Thanks for the kind words everyone, I'm always psyched to hear that people still remember Confront. I' hope to dig out a few old tapes and may have some unheard stuff to share soon.
