The Mags mixing it up with the metal world

John Joseph with Scott Ian of Anthrax

While scouring the internet I came across these two stellar non-live shots that for whatever reason, I just thought were incredible. Maybe it's because you know that when both of these photos were taken, the Cro-Mags were clearly at the top of their game, as were Anthrax and Metallica. Both JJ and Harley look like they are about as happy as they've ever been. On top of all of that, I'm a sucker for good shirts and JJ's busting what could be considered the best Bad Brains shirt ever, while Harley's arguably busting the greatest Cro-Mags shirt ever. All hail the Mags. -Tim DCXX

Harley Flanagan with James Hetfield of Metallica

There can never be enough Mags. I remember seeing pics of Cro Mags in the studio and you could see Harleys Swastika. Those pics were sweet.

yea, way too much cro mags going on here. can you guys run a piece on gardening or scrapbooking? and will you be covering any contemporary folk acoustic acts? (i'd write more suggestions but my vagina hurts). thanks!

i love all the hc kids that are in denial that even AOC is a metal record(which there is nothing wrong with that) just saying.
