Anyone out there have any material by the band Double Cross that played this show? I've heard of them for years, but have never heard a note. If you have something by them or have any further information about them, get in touch. Thanks and have a hell of a weekend. -Tim DCXX

What a show that must have been!!
Double Cross were a Nor-Cal band. Played shows in SF area, Monterey, Santa Cruz, etc. Typical early '80s HC. There was a great scene in that part of CA at the time. Tons of small bands playing at VFW halls and community centers. The skate scene and HC were totally integrated. Every skate contest had live bands or taped HC being played. A big part of the CA scene being so dynamic was that the LA/SF bands would play shows at all the towns between these two cities. So, there were crazy shows like the DK in San Luis Obispo: a literal riot in a sleepy college town. Oxnard/Ventura/Santa Barbara/Monterey/Santa Cruz all had these quirky scenes in those years with great local bands and the bigger touring bands playing shows together. Monterey even had a great local band called Biohazard! Sounded like later Brit bands Heresy/Ripcord. That was '83! Long before NY's Biohazard.
