INTRO BUST
Welcome to DOUBLE CROSS - an online fanzine dedicated to the hardcore we love... past, present, and future. The goal is classic fanzine vibe and content, with stories, interviews, photos and more - updated every day through the week. While this might be a "blog," we want it to go beyond what that term typically represents.
And while we are undoubtedly straight edge and will put the best straight edge bands at the heart of this site, in no way does that mean we won't be featuring all of of our other favorite hardcore bands here as well.
Check out the below links for more info on us, as well as what we have been putting up here since beginning construction in March '08. Get in touch if you wanna contribute or just say what's up.

1986....Gang Green....They found my number and called me....Begging to be on the Adolescents reunion bill, since their tour had them in NorCal around that time. They were such complete DICKS! I shoulda said no and made em have to play to no one somewhere else! It's funny that Chris and Rikk ended up in a band together since they got in a fist fight backstage at the On Broadway in May '86......Aaaaaaa the crazy drunk 80's!
Gang Green were one of the best, but Chris was and still is a complete asshole. Burned a lot of bridges during that late 1985-88 period when he thought they were really going to "make it". Denounced punk and hardcore until getting booed off the stage at many metal shows they played (including a bill with Ozzy), eventually crawling back to the "scene" in order to fuel his vices.
Jim Pitts remembers a lot from 25 years ago. Where are you folks getting your information? When was Chris and Rikk in a band? Begging to be on the bill? Really? When did they get in a fist fight in May of 86? Sounds like BS to me. I played that Ozzy show and there wasnt quite a booing offstage. Most of those kids loved it. Gang Green should have ended in 1986. Nothing after matters.
It’s interesting how they will carry out the initiation of steps for proper implementation of the initiative for government recognition.
