Barlow also likened them to Nazis, which was stupid on his part, but not enough to be sucker punched, in my opinion.

I have no dog in this fight as I was not not there nor was/am I a fan of either band, but I tend to side with Barlow on this old-ass issue. I run against the aping of people at shows in attempt to validate your position/toughness anywhere in the scene. If you can't sit down and talk it out like a reasonable human being, maybe you need to take your ass back to the football locker room and prove your "mettle" against the other goons who all carry the same opinions and points of view. Yeah for homogeneity!Tomhttp://www.suckerpunchingisforpussies.biznoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2768432211492653817.post-21160129754087088862010-06-17T12:19:43.658-04:002010-06-17T12:19:43.658-04:00Never got to see 'em but had the first 7"...Never got to see 'em but had the first 7" and thought they were pretty right on in a lot of their views about hardcore and I'm not even straight edge. For what it's worth though, if memory serves, the guy who was supposed to do the sound was killed in a motorcycle accident the day before, so the sound left a lot to be desired. While I hated a good portion of the bands that promoter guy liked (I think his name was Matt), he was a good enough dude and I doubt he'd have sabotaged the show; he likely took off cause he was tore up about the accident.danschemenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2768432211492653817.post-88828678886353673912010-06-16T11:04:57.298-04:002010-06-16T11:04:57.298-04:00Hornacker(sp?) sang it though right?Hornacker(sp?) sang it though right?Bretthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01557067904782373595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2768432211492653817.post-14256226488980658432010-06-16T09:37:14.605-04:002010-06-16T09:37:14.605-04:00That Chatham show was the only time they covered &...That Chatham show was the only time they covered "Stabbed in the Back".
