D.R.I. - "The Five Year Plan" live at The Ritz, NYC, 6/27/1987

D.R.I. - "The Five Year Plan" off of their 1987 album, "Crossover". This was filmed at The Ritz in NYC, June 27th, 1987 for their Metal Blade video, "D.R.I. Live at The Ritz". Jeff Terranova (Up Front/Smorgasbord Records) posted another part from this video over on the Livewire board today and I thought it was so damn cool that I searched it down myself to see more parts. This particular track, "The Five Year Plan" has always been my favorite off this record, so I felt compelled to post this up on DCXX. Whether your a D.R.I. fan or not, this is classic, quality footage documenting the band, venue and scene in a near perfect way. I win, you lose-Tim DCXX

Historic footage of the moment DRI stopped being the best band in the world.

Agreed, Crossover is a really bad record.

I read somewhere that said asshole bouncer is in fact Gavin Von Flack.

PS> DRI 'Crossover' rules!

I was 15 when I first saw DRI on their thrashzone tour, and although at the time I only liked 3 songs on that album it was the fucking CRAZIEST show I have ever been to. A huge shiner from some skinhead's 196 hole cherry ranger boot during a stage dive, and a half beaten to death body from braving the savage war between the bangers and the skins in the pit was the price I paid to see my favorite band in the world (at the time). Still own the vhs of the Ritz show and still listen to crossover!

I don't think he was punching the audience, someone took a shot at him and he was punching only him.
